I enjoyed a fabulous road trip recently and I came home with over a thousand photos on my camera! I am planning to share some of these over the coming months on this blog if I can find the time.
I miss blogging as I have always enjoyed the interaction with others around the world, so I will do all I can to post from time to time. I cannot promise that the real world will not get in the way though.
This dahlia photo is a particular favourite of mine that I have also shared on Instagram where I do still post everyday!

I have a fascination for doors and always take photos for my collection when I am travelling.
Budapest was a wealth of wonderful old doors, many of which are huge and ornate.
No particular favourite from this collection, but I do like the wooden ones with ornate carvings the most. The last one is particularly enormous as you can see from the gentleman standing in the hallway!

My regular followers will probably have noticed that I have not been blogging recently as I have been busy living my life.
As my heading says Life is an Adventure and I do not want to spend too much time in front of a computer.
However as I am still taking lots of photos, I do want to post sometimes as this is an online scrapbook of my travels, which is why I have incorporated my Photography Blog into this one.
I hope you will continue to enjoy my photographs which I will endeavour to post more often than I have been doing so recently.
With thanks for your continuing support.

Continuing with my World at Work series of photos taken on my travels. Today I am sharing scenes from Market Day in Nyaungshwe, Myanmar.
As I have rather a large collection of photos taken on Market Day, I have decided that I will share more in the next World at Work post.

|Entrance to the World Heritage Site of Pafos Archaeological Park|
I visited Pafos in February and have chosen to share a few photos of the Mosaics for the letter M for ABC Wednesday today taken during my visit to Pafos Archaeological Park
The Kato Pafos archaeological site became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980 and the aim was to protect and maintain these wonderful remains which are from prehistoric times to the middle ages, although most are dating from the Roman period. The mosaics are from the floors of four Roman villas. They are very impressive, my photos do not do them justice but hopefully you will find them interesting.
If you enjoyed my post about the Mosaics today maybe you will consider following Travel Tales as I will return to the Pafos Archaeological Park in a future post.

I have often taken part in this meme over the last few years.
This is the first time I have posted this meme on Travel Tales, a new home for all photos that I would have previously shared on LindyLouMac's World in Photos
